Kalpataru Power Transmission trades higher on the bourses

Kalpataru Power Transmission is currently trading at Rs. 237.60, up by 5.25 points or 2.26% from its previous closing of Rs. 232.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 233.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 246.00 and Rs. 228.45 respectively. So far 17,271 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 291.80 on 06-Aug-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 160.00 on 12-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 246.00 and Rs. 222.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3,646.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 59.45%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 30.95% and 9.60% respectively.

Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL), a leading global EPC player in the power & infrastructure contracting sector has received an approval for issuance of secured / unsecured redeemable Non Convertible Debentures (NCDs) up to Rs 300 crore in one or more tranches. The board of directors at its meeting held on May 28, 2016 has approved for the same.
