Shree Renuka Sugars has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2016.
The company has posted over 51 fold jump in its net profit at Rs 220.2 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 as compared to of Rs 4.3 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 7.98% at Rs 1818.4 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1684 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.
For the year ended March 31, 2016, the company has reported a net loss of Rs 285.3 crore as compared to Rs 295.1 crore for the same period in the previous year. However, total income of company increased by 2.02% at Rs 5864.2 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 5748.1 crore for the period ended March 31, 2015.
For the year ended March 31, 2016, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted a net loss after taxes, minority interest and share of profit associates of Rs 1802.9 crore as compared to Rs 1812.9 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company has decreased by 2.15% at Rs 9916.5 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 10134.1 crore for the period ended March 31, 2015.
