Amal restarts operations at its Ankleshwar site

Amal has restarted operations at its Ankleshwar site, in Gujarat. Earlier, Gujarat Pollution control Board (GPCB) had directed the company to stop the manufacturing activities, order dated April 30, 2016. GPCB has revoked closure notice of the company’s Ankleshwar site effective June 01, 2016.

Amal is engaged in manufacturing and marketing bulk chemicals such as Sulphuric Acid and Oleum and their downstream products such as Sulphur Dioxide and Sulphur Trioxide. The plant is located in Ankleshwar, Gujarat, India.
