Phoenix Lamps trades higher on the bourses

Phoenix Lamps is currently trading at Rs. 141.00, up by 6.20 points or 4.60 % from its previous closing of Rs. 134.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 140.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 146.25 and Rs. 139.80 respectively. So far 100965 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 139.10 on 03-Aug-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 88.10 on 25-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 135.50 and Rs. 111.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 397.59 crore.

Motilal Oswal Asset Management Company (AMC) has bought 1.53 lakh shares of Phoenix Lamps at an average price of Rs 132.16. Phoenix Lamps is undergoing a scheme of arrangement with Suprajit Engineering. Accordingly, shareholders of Phoneix Lamps will get four shares of Suprajit for every five shares held in the company.

Phoenix Lamps is the largest manufacturer of Automotive Lamps in India and caters to Indian OEMs, After Market and European Aftermarket segment.
