Dewan Housing rises on plan to raise funds on Private Placement basis

Dewan Housing Finance Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 205.20, up by 0.15 points or 0.07% from its previous closing of Rs. 205.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 206.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 207.25 and Rs. 204.50 respectively. So far 52,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 268.00 on 10-Aug-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 140.55 on 12-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 216.00 and Rs. 199.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5,986.24 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.89%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 35.75% and 29.35% respectively.

Dewan Housing Finance Corporation (DHFC), one of the leading housing finance companies in India, has proposed to issue secured redeemable Non Convertible Debentures (NCDs) amounting to Rs 400 crore and a greenshoe option up to Rs 175.00 crore on Private Placement basis, pursuant to special resolution passed by the shareholders of the company at the Annual General Meeting held on July 23, 2015, on the terms and conditions.
