Mahindra Satyam has entered into share subscription and investment agreement with DION Global Solutions and RHC holding, by which Mahindra Satyam shall acquire 10,294,117 equity shares for cash at Rs 34 per share including a premium of Rs 24 per share, by way of fresh issue of equity shares, equivalent to 15.97% of post issued capital of DION.
Recently, the company was in talks to acquire a company in Europe to strengthen the services it provides to the aerospace industry and the company for this is expected to spend $150 million. Buying a service provider to the aerospace industry would help the company to cut dependence on telecommunications customers.
