UCO Bank spurts on plan to raise Tier I Capital through issue of bonds worth Rs 4,243 crore

UCO Bank is currently trading at Rs 39.70, up by 0.15 points or 0.38 % from its previous closing of Rs 39.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 39.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 40.10 and Rs. 39.25 respectively. So far 191023 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 60.60 on 22-Jun-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 27.80 on 15-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 39.95 and Rs. 36.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5171.70 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.83%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 17.52% and 9.65% respectively.

UCO Bank has received an approval for raising of Tier I Capital to the tune of Rs 4,243 crore through issue of AT-1 Bonds, issue of equity shares through FPO/Preferential Issue/ESOPs/QIP etc. The board of directors at their meeting held on June 18, 2016, has approved for the same.

The board has also approved the proposal for raising Tier II Capital to the tune of Rs 1,500 crore through issue of Tier II Bonds during the year financial years 2016-17 and 2017-18 depending upon the market conditions.

UCO Bank is a commercial bank and a Government of India Undertaking. The bank offers wide range of services includes Personal Banking, Corporate Banking, International Banking, Rural Banking and other services.
