Maruti Suzuki’s March sales increases by 3.3%

Maruti Suzuki (India), country’s largest car maker has sold a total of 125,952 vehicles in the month of March 2012, up by 3.3% as compared to 121,952 vehicles in March 2011. This includes 13,228 units of exports during the month, registering 14.7% increase.

The sales in A-Passenger Vehicles segment increased by 3.5% to 98,758 units against 95,388 units and the sales in C-segment registered a fall of 13.7% while, the sales in B-segment climbed by 146.8%.

The company has archived highest ever total monthly sales in the month March 2012. The previous highest sales were in March 2011 at 121,952 units. The domestic sales in March 2012 are also highest ever monthly domestic sales in company’s history against previous highest domestic sales in March 2011 at 110,424 units.
