Orient Paper & Industries jumps on restarting operation at its paper plant

Orient Paper & Industries is currently trading at Rs. 50.00, up by 1.75 points or 3.63 % from its previous closing of Rs. 48.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 48.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 50.40 and Rs. 48.10 respectively. So far 91223 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 50.60 on 23-May-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 23.35 on 09-Nov-2015.

Orient Paper & Industries has restarted operation at its paper plant on June 22, 2016, consequent to improvement in water availability and completion of scheduled maintenance.

It manufactures ceiling fans, desk fans, wall-mounted fans, pedestal fans, exhaust fans and multi-utility fans. It has production capacity of over 3 million units per annum.
