Axis Bank gains on inaugurating new branch at Moreh in Manipur

Axis Bank is currently trading at Rs. 518.40, up by 2.45 points or 0.47% from its previous closing of Rs. 515.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 517.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 519.35 and Rs. 515.00 respectively. So far 1,08,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 613.40 on 16-Jul-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 366.65 on 18-Jan-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 534.00 and Rs. 513.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1,23,562.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 30.76%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 58.61% and 10.63% respectively.

Axis Bank has opened new branch at Moreh, in the Chandel district of Manipur state. Apart from providing banking services to the locals, the ATM booth was also set up so as to provide access to cash withdrawal when required.
