Tata Power’s arm commissions 100 KW rooftop projects in Bengaluru

Tata Power Solar, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Power, has successfully commissioned a 100 kW rooftop solar project for Toyota Kirloskar Auto Parts near Bengaluru.  The project, completed in 21 days, is the fastest rooftop installation by Tata Power Solar.

Located at Bidadi industrial estate, the project is built on the administrative office building of the Auto parts manufacturing unit and will be used for captive consumption. The 340 modules manufactured by Tata Power Solar used for the project will generate 146,000 units of power and offset nearly 117 tonnes of carbon dioxide annually.

Tata Power is India’s largest integrated power company with a growing international presence. The Company together with its subsidiaries and jointly controlled entities has an installed gross generation capacity of 9184 MW and a presence in all the segments of the power sector.
