GAIL India gains on starting supply of gas to Wanfeng Group's Rewari plant

GAIL (India) is currently trading at Rs 385.00, up by 1.25 points or 0.33% from its previous closing of Rs. 383.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 388.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 389.75 and Rs. 382.05 respectively. So far 68294 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 401.00 on 01-Jul-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 260.25 on 25-Aug-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 385.50 and Rs. 361.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 48772.96 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 56.11%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 40.39 % and 2.57% respectively.

GAIL India has started supplying gas to the India unit of the world’s largest automotive aluminium wheel producer Wanfeng Group. The supply of gas to Wanfeng Aluminimum Wheels’ plant at Rewari in Haryana has commenced on June 27.

The Rewari plant is the first overseas manufacturing facility of the Chinese company. Wanfeng has invested about $50 million in the plant which will have an annual production capacity of 3 million motorcycle wheels.
