MOIL slashes prices of various grades of mineral by up to 15%

MOIL, country’s top manganese ore producer, has slashed prices of various grades of the mineral by up to 15% for July-September quarter. The prices have been reduced by 10% on all Ferro grades of ore with the Mn content 45% and above on the previous quarter price, while the prices have been reduced by 15% on all other Ferro grades of ore on the previous quarter price.

Besides, the prices have been reduced by 15% on all grades of SMGR (Mn 30%), SMGR Low (Mn 25%) and on all grades of Fines on the previous quarter price while the prices have been reduced by 10% on all chemical grades ore on the previous quarter price. However, the existing price of Electrolytic Manganese Dioxide (EMD) has been continued.

MOIL is the largest iron ore company in India and fifth largest in world. It currently operates seven underground mines (Kandri, Munsar, Beldongri, Gumgaon, Chikla, Balaghat and Ukwa mines) and three opencast mines (Dongri Buzurg, Sitapatore/Sukli, and Tirodi).
