Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has reported 1.32% increase in sales at 549533 units of Two-wheeler in June 2016. The company had sold 542,362 units of two-wheelers in the corresponding month last year.
Supported by growth across multiple segments, the company clocked 17,45,389 unit sales in Q1 FY17, as against 16,45,543 units in the corresponding quarter last year, in spite of subdued rural demand and fewer marriage dates. The company will soon introduce Splendor iSmart 110 motorcycle in the market - the first motorcycle to have been completely developed by the in-house R&D team at Hero MotoCorp.
