Mold-Tek Packaging surges on receiving LoI for setting up two new plants for Asian Paints

Mold-Tek Packaging is currently trading at Rs. 191.10, up by 3.40 points or 1.81% from its previous closing of Rs. 187.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 189.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 197.50 and Rs. 188.00 respectively. So far 43397 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 197.50 on 07-Jul-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 92.25 on 27-Jul-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 194.10 and Rs. 162.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 536.10 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 33.93%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.36% and 46.71% respectively. 

Mold-Tek Packaging has received Letter of Intent (LoI) for setting up 2 new plants to supply pails to the upcoming new plants of Asian Paints. The capacity of the company’s plants will start at 3,500 tons of polymer processing per annum in 2019 and would reach 14,000 tons per annum in 2024, subject to pricing, service & quality.

Mold-Tek Packaging is the leader in manufacturing of plastic packaging products including pails. It specializes in both standard and made-to-order packaging solutions for leading brands of paints, lubricants, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, FMCGs, etc.
