Central Bank of India spurts on inking MOU with Nepal Bank for remittance facility

Central Bank of India is currently trading at Rs 105.40, up by 0.60 points or 0.57% from its previous closing of Rs. 104.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 104.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 106.40 and Rs. 104.50 respectively. So far 20622 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 113.70 on 14-Jul-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 48.20 on 17-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 110.00 and Rs. 102.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 18633.70 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 79.94%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 15.26% and 4.80% respectively.

Central Bank of India (CBI) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Nepal Bank (NBL) on July 02, 2016 for ‘CENT NEPAL MITRA’ Remittance facility for Nepali citizens in India for sending money to their beneficiaries in Nepal.

Central Bank of India holds a very prominent place among the Public Sector Banks on account of its network of 4709 Branches, 4 Extension  counters, along with 29 Satellite Offices (as on December 2015) at various centres throughout the length and breadth of the country.
