Gammon Infrastructure jumps on receiving letter of award from MPRDC

Gammon Infrastructure Projects is currently trading at Rs. 16.10, up by 1.18 points or 7.91% from its previous closing of Rs. 14.92 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 15.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 16.60 and Rs. 15.70 respectively. So far 1,76,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 23.90 on 13-Apr-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 9.21 on 20-Dec-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 16.60 and Rs. 14.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1,173.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.53% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.26% and 12.22% respectively.

Gammon Infrastructure Projects has received the letter of award (LOA) for the four laning of the Sidhi - Singrauli stretch of 102.6 kms of NH 75E from km 83.4 to km 195.8 in the State of Madhya Pradesh from the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation (MPRDC) on BOT basis.

The project cost as estimated by MPRDC, is Rs 871.15 crore. The company will receive a total grant of Rs 339.69 crore from MPRDC during the construction period of the project. The concession period of the project is 30 years, including a construction period of 2 years.
