NHPC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on July 21, 2016 with Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) for undertaking of hydro power projects in overseas markets. As per the MoU, NHPC and BHEL will look after the civil and electro mechanical package respectively.
NHPC is an Indian Hydro Power Generation company that was incorporated with an objective to plan, promote and organize an integrated and efficient development of hydroelectric power in all aspects.
