IL&FS Transportation Networks’ wholly owned subsidiary ‘Sikar-Bikaner Highways’ has been issued a Provisional Completion Certificate by the Independent Engineer for the additional stretch of 22.091 km of the Sikar-Bikaner Road Project on August 16, 2016. With this, company would be entitled to commercially operate a total length of 234.657 Kms out of 237.578 kms. The Project is on toll basis with a concession period of 25 years including construction period of 2 years.
The Project was earlier issued a Provisional Completion Certificate on October 10, 2015 by which the company was entitled to collect only 89.47% of the toll. Since the company has now completed the development of the 98.77% of the Project, it will be entitled to collect toll at revised rate.
