NHPC consequent on successful trial run of Unit No.4 of Teesta Low Dam H.E. Project, Stage IV (4 x 40 MW) has an installed capacity of 40 MW for continuous 20.08 hours on dated August 15, 2016. The unit No. 4 is hereby declared under commercial operation with affect from August 19, 2016. Accordingly, COD of Power Station is also declared with affect from August 19, 2016.
Further the company has been allocated 100% Power generated from TLDP-1V to the state of West Bengal and the same shall be supplied through West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company (WBSEDCL).
