Apollo Tyres is reportedly in discussion with Indian two-wheeler manufacturers to supply tyres as part of its plans to expand business in the new segment where it is currently present only in after sales market. The firm, which had forayed into two-wheeler segment in March, is also mulling whether to start manufacturing the tyres on its own. It currently outsources manufacturing of two-wheeler tyres from a third party.
