Hindustan copper has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2016.
The company has registered net loss of Rs 2.88 crore for the quarter as against net profit of Rs 20.00 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 10.36 % at Rs 221.16 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 246.73 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015.
Hindustan Copper’s principal activities include mining of copper ore, concentration of copper ore into copper concentrate through a beneficiation process and also smelting, refining and extruding of the copper concentrate into refined copper in downstream saleable products.
