Foreign institutional investor (FII) LTS Investment Fund has bought 9.75 per cent stake or 62.85 lakh shares in New Delhi Television (NDTV). The institutional investor has acquired the same from Oswal Greentech at Rs 81 a share aggregating to Rs 50.9 crore.
Oswal Greentech, engaged in the business of chemicals, fertilisers and entertainment with revenues of Rs 364.3 crore in FY16. It held 14.17 per cent stake in NDTV as of June 30.
NDTV operates as a television media company in India and internationally. Its channels offer news and current affairs, lifestyle, entertainment, and youth programs, as well as family and realty shows, chat shows, and period dramas.
