Yes Bank unveils its own mobile wallet ‘Yes Pay’: Report

Yes Bank, India’s fifth largest private sector bank, has reportedly unveiled its own digityal wallet Yes Pay for Android and iOS mobile platforms. Apart from mobile recharge and bill payment which are the key offerings for most digital wallets in India, Yes Pay also features functionalities that allow both 'users' and 'non users' to send and receive money, which enables a Yes Bank customer to request for funds transfer from a customer who might not be a Yes Pay wallet user.

Yes Bank has reported a rise of 32.76% in its net profit at Rs 731.80 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2016 as compared to Rs 551.20 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 25.44% to Rs 4762.83 crore for the quarter under review, from Rs 3797.02 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
