Apollo Hospitals is currently trading at Rs. 605.90, up by 2.10 points or 0.35% from its previous closing of Rs. 603.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 610.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 612.80 and Rs. 605.00 respectively. So far 2021 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 716.90 on 05-Dec-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 432.30 on 24-Jun-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 626.00 and Rs. 602.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 8187.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 33.10% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 34.44% and 31.15% respectively. 

Apollo Hospitals is likely to spend Rs 1,500 crore for increasing the number of its beds to nearly 11,500 by March 2014. In 2011, it had added 800 beds in its existing 56 hospitals, which now have 9,000 beds. With the opening of six new hospitals this year, it will have over 10,000 beds. Apollo is also planning to add 60 new clinics to increase the number to 100 this year.
