TVS surges on completing ‘Himalayan Highs Season 2’

TVS Motor Company is currently trading at Rs. 318.10, up by 6.40 points or 2.05% from its previous closing of Rs. 311.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 315.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 320.00 and Rs. 314.40 respectively. So far 180144 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 340.90 on 20-Apr-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 202.60 on 01-Sep-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 313.90 and Rs. 301.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 15119.65 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.40%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 29.78% and 12.82% respectively.

TVS Motor Company has successfully completed ‘Himalayan Highs Season 2’ with 11 women riders from across India riding to the world’s highest motorable road - Khardung La on TVS Scooty Zest 110. Led by Anam Hashim, the solo rider of Himalayan Highs Season 1, the entourage earned themselves a place in India Book of Records for being the first group of women riders to conquer Khardung La on 110cc scooter.
