C&C Constructions surges on bagging transmission order worth Rs 73.61 crore

C&C Constructions is currently trading at Rs. 17.95, up by 1.65 points or 10.12% from its previous closing of Rs. 16.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 17.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 18.00 and Rs. 17.45 respectively. So far 50,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 25.00 on 05-Oct-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 8.12 on 24-May-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 18.00 and Rs. 14.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 45.67 crore.

C&C Constructions has been awarded a project by Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) for transmission line package TW01 for 400 KV D/C Mohindergarh- Bhiwani Transmission Line including Supply of Conductor insulators associated with Northern Region Strengthening Scheme XXXV.

The contract value of the project is Rs 73.61 crore. The duration for completion of project is 12 months from the date of contract. With this order, the company has an order book of approximately Rs 151 crore in transmission sector.

C&C Constructions operates as an infrastructure development company in India. The company engages in the construction of highways and airports; laying of optic fiber cables; and maintenance of telecom networks.
