Berger Paints gains on plan to set-up mixing plant having capacity of 2,400 KL per annum

Berger Paints India is currently trading at Rs. 264.00, up by 5.80 points or 2.25% from its previous closing of Rs. 258.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 262.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 267.35 and Rs. 261.55 respectively. So far 44,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 271.60 on 01-Sep-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 149.94 on 08-Sep-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 271.60 and Rs. 250.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 25,626.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.98%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.52% and 10.50% respectively.

Berger Paints India will set up a mixing plant with a maximum capacity of 2,400 KL per annum near the existing factory of the company’s subsidiary, Beepee Coatings, at Vallabh Vidhyanagar, Gujarat for convenience of supply to various customers.
