Lanco Infratech’s arm completes 56MW grid connected Solar Photovoltaic Power Plants in Gujarat

Lanco Solar, a fully owned subsidiary of Lanco Infratech - the fastest growing business conglomerates in India with interests in EPC, Power, Solar, Resources and Infrastructure has completed a total of 56MW Grid connected Solar Photovoltaic Power Plants in Gujarat.

This includes three plants of 35 MW owned by Lanco Infratech and additional 21 MW built as turnkey EPC for other developers - the Gujarat Power Corporation (5MW), GSPC Pipavav Power Company (5MW); GHI Energy (10 MW} and Gujarat State Electricity Corporation (1MW). These power plants are expected to generate up to 90 million units of green electricity annually resulting in reduction of CO2 emissions by 85757 tonnes annually.

Believing that sustainable development is extremely important, Lanco has embarked on a strategic plan to build its business in solar energy. The company is building different verticals across its value chain including Project Development for solar power plants within and outside India.
