BEML, the Public Sector Company under the Ministry of Defence, has been bestowed with the prestigious International Gold Award for its Quality initiatives in the manufacture of Metro Cars. The company has won the Gold Award competing 313 teams from 12 countries across the Globe.
At the International Convention of Quality Circle Competition (ICQCC-2016) held at Bangkok, BEML Metro Quality Circle Team presented the case study on ‘Productivity improvement and reduction in Welding Distortion’ during manufacturing of side-block of Metro Cars.
