IL&FS Transportation gets approval for registration of Infrastructure Investment Trust

IL&FS Transportation Networks has received in-principle approval from Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for registration of “IL&FS Transportation Investment Trust” as Infrastructure Investment Trust under the SEBI (Infrastructure Investment Trusts) Regulations, 2014 subject to compliance of certain conditions. The company will act as the Sponsor of Trust once it is registered.

IL&FS Transportation Networks is an India-based surface transportation infrastructure company. The company is a developer, operator and facilitator of surface transportation infrastructure projects, taking projects from conceptualization through commissioning to operations and maintenance under public to private partnership on build-operate-transfer (BOT) basis.
