State-owned NHPC has signed a wind power purchase agreement (PPA) with Rajasthan Government and INOX on September 28, 2016 for 50 MW Wind Power Project in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. As per the PPA, Rajasthan Government will purchase the power generated from the project.
NHPC is an Indian Hydro Power Generation company that was incorporated with an objective to plan, promote and organize an integrated and efficient development of hydroelectric power in all aspects.
