Indian Oil Corporation hikes Petrol price by 14 paise per litre

State-owned Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has hiked Petrol prices by 14 paise per litre and Diesel prices by 10 paise per litre with effect from the midnight of October 04/ October 05, 2016. Petrol will be sold at Rs 64.72 per litre in Delhi, while Diesel will cost Rs 52.61 per litre. The current level of international product prices of petrol and diesel and the rupee-US Dollar exchange rate warrant increase in selling price of petrol and diesel, the impact of which is being passed on to the consumers with this price revision.
