Tata Motors is currently trading at Rs. 559.25, up by 9.90 points or 1.80% from its previous closing of Rs. 549.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 555.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 561.50 and Rs. 549.80 respectively. So far 474868 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 598.60 on 07-Sep-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 266.00 on 11-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 550.90 and Rs. 517.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 161726.71 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 33.01%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 41.81% and 8.33% respectively.

Tata Motors, the country’s largest commercial vehicles manufacturer, has delivered 51 Ace tippers to Jaipur Nagar Nigam. Earlier, the company had received orders from Jaipur Nagar Nigam, for garbage collection vehicles. Tata ACE Hopper Tipper BS III and BS IV, is a fully-built offering from Tata Motors and is ideal for door-to-door ‘garbage collection’ facilitating easy remote tipping operations, with a tipping angle of 85?90 degrees. The vehicles can manoeuver easily through narrow city lanes, due to its size & best-in-class turning radius. Cathodic electro deposition (CED) treatment of the vehicle body prevents corrosion.

Tata Motors range of municipal vehicles offers fully-built solutions in the areas of solid & wet waste management (door-to-door garbage collection & transportation to garbage-dumping sites), health services, water supply, street-lighting, disaster management, and staff transportation on heavy, medium, intermediate, light and small commercial vehicle platforms. The range is designed to provide solutions for day-to-day needs, managing the supply of clean/potable water, also helping in fulfilling the basic needs of sanitation to ensure a cleaner environment and society. These vehicles come with the promise of proven performance, ease of maintenance, and better operating economics, while being environment-friendly at the same time.
