GIPCL spurts on commissioning 16.8 MW WTGs at the Nakhatrana Wind Farm Sites

Gujarat Industries Power Company is currently trading at Rs 93.00, up by 0.35 points or 0.38% from its previous closing of Rs 92.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 93.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 93.90 and Rs. 92.50 respectively. So far 8946 shares were traded on the counter.

Gujarat Industries Power Company (GIPCL) has commissioned eight Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) of 2.1 MW each aggregating to 16.8 MW at the Nakhatrana Wind Farm Sites, Dist. Kutch in Gujarat state. Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) has issued Certificates of Commissioning dated October 20, 2016.

GIPCL is a Vadodara-based public limited company engaged in the business of power generation with an installed capacity of 815 MW. The company operates two gas based power plants in Vadodara, VS-I and VS-II aggregating 310 MW and two lignite-based power plants in Surat, SLPP-I and SLPP-II aggregating 500 MW.
