Escorts has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2016.
The company has reported over threefold jump in its net profit at Rs 31.28 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 9.78 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 20.52% at Rs 1002.46 crore for the quarter under review as compared Rs 831.79 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
Escorts offer a comprehensive range of tractors with more than 45 variants starting from 25 to 80 HP. The company also manufactures and markets a diverse range of equipments like cranes, loaders, vibratory rollers and forklifts.
