MRF has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2016.
The company has reported 14.36% fall in its net profit at Rs 385.29 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 449.92 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased marginally by 0.62% at Rs 3736.70 crore for the quarter under review as compared Rs 3713.61 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
MRF is India’s No.1 tyre manufacturing company. Currently, the company exports tyres to over 80 countries including America, Europe, Middle East, Japan, and the Pacific region. The overseas market contributes to 10-12% of the company's turnover at present.
