NHPC, one of the leading utilities firms in the country, has commissioned of 50 Megawatt (MW) wind power project in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The project consists of 25 Wind Turbine Generators each of 2 MW capacity, which has been successively synchronized with grid in the month of October, 2016.
NHPC is an Indian Hydro Power Generation company that was incorporated with an objective to plan, promote and organize an integrated and efficient development of hydroelectric power in all aspects.
