Bajaj Auto reports 1% rise in October sales

Bajaj Auto has registered rise of 0.95% in total sales to 3,56,168 units in October 2016 against 3,52,822 units in October 2015. The sales of the motorcycles decreased marginally and stood at 3,07,892 units in the month under review against 3,08,733 units in October 2015. The company has reported 9% rise in Commercial Vehicles sales, which stood at 48,276 units as compared to 44,089 units in month of October 2015. Moreover, the company’s total exports out of the above stood at 1,17,387 units as compared to 1,27,645 units sold in the corresponding month last year.

Bajaj Auto is world’s fourth largest two and three-wheeler manufacturer. Bajaj Auto has three plants in all, two at Waluj and Chakan in Maharashtra and one plant at Pant Nagar in Uttaranchal.
