Escorts Agri machinery segment (EAM), a subsidiary of Escorts, has sold 8,970 tractors in October 2016 as compared to 5,862 tractors sold in October 2015 and showing a growth of 53%. The company has sold 8,859 tractors in October 2016 in the domestic market showing a 51.90% growth as against 5,832 tractors sold in October 2015. The exports for October 2016 were up by 270% and stood at 111 tractors as against 30 tractors in October 2015.
Escorts offer a comprehensive range of tractors with more than 45 variants starting from 25 to 80 HP. The company also manufactures and markets a diverse range of equipments like cranes, loaders, vibratory rollers and forklifts.
