Usher Agro’s arm commissions rice husk biomass power plant in Mathura

Usher Agro’s subsidiary company -- Usher Eco Power -- has successfully commissioned its 16MW Rice Husk Biomass Co-generation power plant at Chhata, Mathura in Uttar Pradesh.

Earlier on February 03, 2012, Usher Eco Power proposed a public issue of equity shares and filed Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with SEBI for setting up another Rice Husk Biomass Co-generation power plant of 18MW.

Usher Agro is engaged in the business of Rice Milling (mainly Non-Basmati) and Wheat flour milling with existing milling capacities of 252,000 tonnes per annum (TPA) for paddy milling and 75,000 TPA for wheat flour milling at its three factories located at Mathura, Chatta and Buxar.
