Apollo Tyres reports 7% fall in Q2 consolidated net profit

Apollo Tyres has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2016. 

The company has reported 4.91% fall in its net profit at Rs 204.62 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 215.18 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 7.31% at Rs 2345.68 crore for the quarter under review as compared Rs 2530.77 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.     

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 7.15% fall in its net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit of associates at Rs 260.04 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016 as compared to Rs 280.07 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total Income of the company has increased by 2.08% to Rs 3355.24 crore for quarter under review from Rs 3286.89 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015.
