Narayana Hrudayalaya (NH), a leading healthcare service provider in India, has received its board’s approval for cessation of operations at its unit at Berhampore, West Bengal by selling its entire shareholding in its wholly owned subsidiary, Asia Healthcare Development (AHDL), to Lila Hospitals.
AHDL, housing the Rabindranath Thakur Diagnostics & Medical Care centre, Berhampore was acquired by NH in March 2014. This hospital with 60 operational beds reported operational revenue of Rs 4.2 crore for the six months period ending September 30 2016, representing 0.4% of consolidated operational revenue of NH.
