City Union Bank reported 14.73% rise in its net profit at Rs 123.74 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016, as compared to Rs 107.85 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank increased by 7.89% at Rs 894.87 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 829.45 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
The Bank’s gross NPA for the July- September quarter of the current fiscal increased to 2.69%, as compared to 2.10 % in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 1.63% in Q2FY17.
