Tyre maker MRF has reported 67.09% increase in standalone net profit, for the second quarter ended March 31, at Rs 150.13 crore. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 89.85 crore in the same period last year.
The company’s total income from operations surged 25.55% during the second quarter to Rs 2,992.80 crore from Rs 2,383.79 crore in the year-ago period.
MRF (Madras Rubber Factory) is India’s No.1 tyre manufacturing company. Currently, the company exports tyres to over 65 countries including America, Europe, Middle East, Japan, and the Pacific region.
