Reliance Infra gains on bagging EPC order worth Rs 3,675 crore from NLC India

Reliance Infrastructure is currently trading at Rs. 452.35, up by 2.25 points or 0.50% from its previous closing of Rs. 450.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 456.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 459.80 and Rs. 451.95 respectively. So far 1,11,832 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 635.35 on 09-Sep-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 387.45 on 12-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 487.75 and Rs. 445.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 11992.34 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 49.69%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 37.81% and 12.51% respectively.

Reliance Infrastructure (Reliance Infra) has bagged a prestigious Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) order for Rs 3,675 crore (Rs 2,302 crore plus $205 million) from NLC India (formerly known as Neyveli Lignite Corporation) for setting up two Lignite based CFBC Thermal Power Projects of capacity 250 MW each, in Barsingsar and Bithnok of Bikaner District, Rajasthan, India. The project is to be commissioned in 40 months and will include Boiler, Turbine & Generator and Balance of Plant.

Reliance Infrastructure is the largest power distribution licensee in Mumbai, with 25 years license to distribute electricity in its licensed distribution areas spread over 400 Sq. Kms. in the suburbs and surrounding areas of Mumbai and supplying power to around 29 lakh consumers.
