GIPCL rises on commissioning two more WTGs at Nakhatrana Wind Farm Site

Gujarat Industries Power Company (GIPCL) is currently trading at Rs. 95.60, up by 0.55 points or 0.58% from its previous closing of Rs. 95.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 99.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 99.00 and Rs. 95.25 respectively. So far 3,545 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 110.05 on 11-Nov-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 74.40 on 15-Mar-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 99.00 and Rs. 91.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1,446.72 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 58.21%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 26.21% and 15.58% respectively.

GIPCL has commissioned two more Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) of 2.1 MW each at the Nakhatrana Wind Farm Site, Kutch district in state of Gujarat. Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) has issued Certificates of Commissioning of WTGs. With the commissioning of two WTGs, GIPCL has now commissioned all the ten WTGs of the 21 MW Wind Farm at Nakhatrana Wind Farm Site.

Gujarat Industries Power Company is engaged in the generation of electricity. The company also offers operation and maintenance (O&M) services, such as power plant services, and demineralization (DM) water supply and laboratory testing services.
