Tata Power Company has informed that with reference to Point No. 6 (in Consolidated Financial Results) and Point No. 3 (in Standalone Financial Results) of the Independent Auditors Review Report dated November 29, 2016 on the Interim Financial Results for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2016. The Company has obtained the ‘fair valuation’ from one of the investee companies which includes the fair valuation of certain other unquoted investments and used the same for the valuation of the Investments. In the opinion of the Company, this is in compliance with Accounting Standards IND-AS -113.
