RBL Bank has received an in-principle approval from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for opening of ‘International Financial Services Centre Banking Unit’ (IFSC Banking Unit) at Gujarat International Finance Tech-City (GIFT) in state of Gujarat.
Separately, RBL has become the first bank in India to launch Aadhaar Payment Bridge System (APBS) for micro finance loan disbursements. This was achieved by doing the first successful cashless disbursement to various beneficiaries in the rural segment across the country.
