Nucleus Software surges on reporting 98% rise in Q4 net profit

Nucleus Software Exports is currently trading at Rs 66.30, up by 1.70 points or 2.63% from its previous closing of Rs 64.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 64.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs 68.45 and Rs 64.50 respectively. So far 6767 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 96.60 on 02-May-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs 55.65 on 19-Dec-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 68.45 and Rs 63.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 214.70 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.44% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.41% and 28.15% respectively.

Nucleus Software Exports has posted a fall of 63.50% in its net profit at Rs 5.99 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs16.41 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However total income has increased by 3.57% at Rs 49.91 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 48.19 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011

On the consolidated basis, the company has posted a rise of 98.42% in its net profit at Rs 8.79 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 4.43 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 6.90% at Rs 70.06 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 65.54 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011.
